Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS) will host “A Journey of Resilience” presenting Matt Logelin, a public speaker, blogger and best-selling author of “Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love,” and the inspiration for the popular Netflix film, “Fatherhood.” Logelin is the featured speaker at JF&CS’ largest fundraiser of the year, Community of Giving. This event will be held on Georgia Gives Day on Giving Tuesday.
Many of us have lost loved ones over the course of the pandemic. Logelin tragically and suddenly lost his beloved wife, Liz, 27 hours after the birth of the couple’s first child. He struggled to raise his baby daughter while still reeling from the loss of his wife. Hear Logelin’s story of how he overcame loss, and built resilience, and how he stepped up to help others going through trauma and loss. This event will support JF&CS and the many services they provide to the Atlanta community.
General admission tickets are available for $36 each. Admission and catered meal for one guest is $180, and admission plus a family meal is $360. Event is virtual.
